A counselor by trade but I have always loved arts and crafts and have dabbled in the creative process throughout my life. More importantly I am a mother of two wonderful daughters and a son, (my Labradoodle whom has just crossed the rainbow bridge which was absolutely heartbreaking. He has been my INSPIRATION and motivator!
One day on our daily walks with my doodle, we found some beautiful pinecones and I began to collect a few at a time until I had enough to make a wreath. My friend kept saying how much she loved the wreath, so I gathered more pine cones and made one for her. My precious pup had been slowing down and could no longer go on his daily walks, but he loved to be outside! As his health declined, I didn’t leave his side. Wherever he wanted to be, and that was often outside, that is where we were ! I needed something to do, so I began making more wreaths in my garage. He was always laying right by my side, listening to music and hanging with mom. Through the rain, and snow and heat and hail, he was my my partner, he just had a tail!
Many people would walk by and admire my wreaths, so I kept making them and began giving them as gifts. Then people wanted to buy them!
I feel like he is still close by my side with everything I make, and I know he will continue to be my inspiration!
We have since rescued another sweet soul (this time a Fox Hound) who also needs lots of attention, so I guess I will keep creating! I have begun sculpting, painting and crafting new items as well, which I hope to list soon.
Thank you so much for finding my shop!
